We Visited Charly T's

Two Sundays ago, we were privileged to receive a food-tasting invite from Charly T's, at their 112 Katong's outlet. It was our first encounter with Charly T's and we love it that it's such an inviting place for families.
This place holds a fast-casual (half fast food and restaurant style) concept, which orders are done at the deli-style counter, we pay for our order then be seated and wait for food to be served to us. Take a quick look at their Menu here, you'll notice their wallet-friendly prices!
Quick view of some of Charly T's desserts at the deli-counter, was told these are not their signature desserts because their signature desserts are made fresh!
Interesting East meets West decor
We were recommended to try this Green Flash S$7 (consisted of green apple, orange, pineapple)

And Red Tang $7 (consisted of strawberry, cranberry, lychee) that was sweet and girly for Missy,

I was alone with the 2 kiddos during this food tasting thus wasn't able to try out a great variety of different items from their menu - alas! These were our humble order but it was enough to put us on cloud 9. How can we miss the signature dish of Charly T's Rotisserie chicken S$14.50 (Quarter chicken) that was painstakingly marinated over 13 hours and slowly cooked Rotisserie style. The kids and I love their wonderfully delish dessert - Kaiserchmarrn S$16 (tasted somewhat like pancakes, topped with icing sugar and raisins) that went with a huge scoop of French vanilla ice cream!

Their Mom's Chicken Soup S$8 was a great comfort food for an extremely cold rainy afternoon that day. Love that this soup has the home-style goodness packed within.
I was pleasantly delighted when I saw that patrons were offered guest usage of their WIFI service while dining at Charly T's. I really appreciate such thoughtfulness.

Here's something to keep restless kids happy and parents dining in peace! One Sunday every month, Charly T's engages young diners with activities such as "Mask Making" (coming up on 20th October), "Terrarium Making" (coming up on 10th November) and "Instrument Making" (coming up on 15th December). The children will be guided by a guest instructor and get to bring back the crafts they've made. The craft sessions are completely free of charge.

It was near the Mid-Autumn festival when we visited the restaurant and so the kids were taught how to make lanterns.

Missy made a new friend, Dana, when we visited Charly T's
