I supposed they enjoyed the environment with controlled temperature that ranges between 23C - 25C in the conservatories - Flower Dome and Cloud Forest and the vast amount of space to walk and run around.
There's really no formal introduction needed here about the Gardens by the Bay. Since its doors opened in Year 2012, many have shared extensively about this park hence I shall not repeat what's been talked about this place. But over here you can certainly find out more about the park.
We visited this place during the new thematic floral display (which is still currently on till 21st July 2013) in the cooled conservatories that was entitled "Flight of Fancy", a colourful display - complete with miniature hot air balloons, airplanes, and kites and dotted with intriguing flight-related facts.
Here are the photo captures of the day...
The place is really very colourfully accented with these mini hot-air balloons and airplanes.
It's so wonderfully cool, how can Missy missed the chance of stealing a "snooze".
Beautiful blooms just filled up this place to make it lovelier!
Trivia and games for the kids to learn about conserving our forest and natural habitat.
We entered into another dimension of "cool".
The sun flare was just too lovely not to be captured!
Miniature trains, the kids could stay here for hours just watching and observing the trains go round and round the train track!
Curious about the waterfall.
Pick up more trivia and learn more!
And how can we even miss the Supertrees!
We had a rather enjoyable time with the kids at the Gardens by the Bay because there was indeed many interesting and educational facts and trivia to be picked up as we walk along together.
Besides the conservatories, there will be a series of activities that will be rolled out in conjunction with Gardens by the Bay's upcoming 1st anniversary. It'll be a great time for families to pack a picnic mat and spend some treasured moments together at the "Gardens Party One" on 29th June 2013 (this coming Saturday) with loads of fringe activities and stage performances. There will also be a transformation of the Supertrees into "Mystical Supertrees" from 30th June to 7th July 2013. Don't miss the free activities for kids such as the "GB Kids' Blast" and "Blow Wind Blow". More details and information about all the stated activities can be found at the Gardens by the Bay website (click on link).
