Sew Cute!!!

My dear friend, Jenny, is due to deliver her baby girl this month...and I had in mind to prepare some handmade gifts for her little princess...and have since been surfing by lots of sewing blogs and websites to draw inspiration and ideas...

I took pleasure to sew 3 pairs of booties, 3 bibs and 3 baby wraps for the prep of this gift... *smile*
These baby booties are simply adorable...as they are so tiny it really brought back a lot of sweet memories of how both Tim and Little Missy were that small before... *sigh of happiness*The 3 pairs of booties were sewn specially to match the 3 bibs to make into 3 sets... aren't they pretty? *beaming* Is it any wonder why sewing is so satisfying? The end product will at least be something useful to the person whom you're giving to...and best of all... to me, sewing is therapeutic... after each project, it just spurs me on to want to sew more... :)

Hi! I love reading your blog as well as your homeschooling one. You are an inspiration! Can I ask you, does Tim go to any school/playgroups at all? If not, how in the world do you entertain him at home all day???? I have a 20m old and I am finding trouble keeping him occupied!!! Pls tell me.. haha.. thanks!

Hello Anonymous, thanks for visiting my blogs :) am glad you've found the info shared useful... *smile*...

yes keeping the young ones occupied has always been my problem too... hahaha...

I organize a playgroup at home with a group of mommies & their kids once every wk...my daily routine involves bringing the kids down to the playground for a run, do some crafts and reading... occasionally I'll bring Tim along with me when I go to the market or run my errands... and most times, the 2 kids will be home playing with the toys or joining our neighbours' kids for free-play...and then there's also TV time... watching the Playhouse Disney and other educational videos...

Nothing very structured but enough to keep them occupied *grin*

Dear Mommies, thanks so much for your kind compliments :) I guess I'd have to seriously consider running an online shop to sell my crafts then? *smile*
