Family Nature's Walk...

We are back to the Upper Pierce Reservoir once again... we haven't been here for a few months now... but it's still as tranquil and beautiful as ever...

This time, Little Missy could enjoy more fun as she's able to walk and run; she's able to discover and observe things as she moves around...
Timothy was most intrigued by the huge root of the tree that could be seen on the surface of the ground... he was also busy observing the fishes that were in the water... picking sticks, leaves and enjoying the beautiful stillness of the place.
Little Missy had a hay day just by running around and picking up everything that's small... she enjoyed plucking the petals off the flowers most... *smile*
Before leaving the place a monkey caught Tim's eyes... and he was following the monkey for quite a distance till it went up on a tree...the monkey was eyeing at the spread of food that some of the picnic-goers had.

We stood by the side and watched the monkey for a while... and along the way to our car, Tim picked up a dried up pong-pong fruit... what great fun to have such nature walks...

Beautiful pics!

Btw, the monkey is a macaque and can be pretty aggressive in snatching things. Unfortunately, people like to feed them and thus their natural hunting behaviour is changing.

Do be careful next time you encounter them though!

oh wow thanks for cautioning me... we did encounter the monkey getting aggressive when one of the ladies at the picnic table was going trigger crazy on her camera... so I told Steven to bring Tim further away...

yes, we shall be more careful the next time... :)
