Sew Happy...

Another great piece of art completed today... not by me, but by another loving mom...

Mommy Adeline and Mommy Evelyn were at my place to complete their project of sewing the hats... this lesson was long overdue... but am glad they could make it today... :)
With a great deal of patience and a whole load of love, this mommy was determine to complete her project by the end of the day. See how hardworking she had been at the sewing machine? *smile*
Now, isn't that the loveliest end product you've ever seen? And isn't that the most beaming smile of achievement you've ever witnessed? She sure shows loads of great satisfaction after the work has been done...
The hat was meant for her little girl but it was big enough for her own use...*grin*

All in a day's work! *sigh of satisfaction*

Hi Pauline,

Yes, i saw the tutorials/lunks you shared. But i just don't have the confident to start doing it. It all looks complicated huh ?

Any tutorial for hat making liek the one you do ? I think i need something simpler to start with ?

Hi

I was so satisfied with the hat that I was sneaking glances at it every now and then last night..hee...

It is too big for C however and she kept pulling it off.

Maybe I will wear it myself instead. Oh and my hubby has agreed to let me buy a sewing machine..yipee yay!

Time for our next project!

Hi Wombiekhoo, I'd recommend a basic machine with minimal fancy stitches... honestly, you'll hardly even use them... (actually speaking for myself teehehe)... I think a Singer or Brother is good... I use a Janome which is also a popular brand in Japan & the US...

yeah making the hats is one of my proudest achievement cos it's caused me sweat and frustrations teehehehe....

oops sorry anonymous...I don't know who you are *blush*... are you Reen or Mico? am confused already... cos no sign-off name at the bottom of the comment... sorry...

HI Mico, I don't have a tutorial for the hat making cos it was a japanese pattern book that i got the hat pattern from... and all the instructions were in jap... i just guess my way through the making of the hat kekeke...thankfully the hats came out ok...

I'd think making the ruffle skirt is FAR FAR FAR EASIER than making the hat... trust me... the rest of the mommies can vouch for me *grin*
