Fresh Air & Sunshine!!!

Kids... they have boundless energy to be expended... and what better way than to be outdoors! We were out in 2 consecutive days... and it was pure pleasure and fun to the little ones...

We were at the West Coast Park playground with our playdate mates - Mommy Adeline & Caitlin and Mommy Evelyn & Layla. Have heard about this playground for quite a while but didn't make a trip over there due to the distance.
I am happy that the kids had an opportunity to play and socialize, while the mommies could catch up with each other while the kids had fun.

The park was great though the playgrounds seem more apt for older kids... nevertheless, the vast amount of space was enough to keep the kids happy and occupied.

We spent some time by the seaside watching the yatchs, boats and ships... enjoying the sea breeze and wonderful company... we bade each other farewell after we had lunch at the nearby Mcdonalds.

Today, we met each other again (the original trio of Artful Lil' Hands - Mommy Adeline & Caitlin and Mommy Joyce & Cherrlyn), at the Jacob Ballas Children's Garden. Though it rained for a while, it sure didn't dampen our mood and our fun.
The kids had a short period of fun by the fountain area before it started to pour... we took shelter by the entrance of the garden where we met Mommy Joyce & Cherrlyn who just arrived.
While waiting for the rain to stop, Mommy Joyce whipped out the colour pens and paper for the kids to doodle and I gave the kids some raisins to munch... the mommies took the opportunity to chat and catch up (yet again...we all love to chat *smile*)
Fortunately, it was only a passing cloud... the rain stopped quite quickly and we headed back into the garden again... love the wonderful weather... it was cooling and there simply wasn't any crowd at all... we had the garden literally to ourselves *grin*

The kids had an opportunity to see, touch, feel and smell the many different types of plants, herbs, fruits, vegetables in the garden...what a wonderfully educational tour around the place.
Even Little Missy had her fair share of experiential learning... *smile*...

I am happy that both Tim and Little Missy had fun on both days of outing... I certainly feel much less stressed and frustrated... and the kids wouldn't feel bored facing the four walls & their naggy mom day-in and day-out... would love to do more of such social outings...

Am just looking forward to the trips we have planned... we are going to the Bird Park and possibly the East Coast Beach next week... wouldn't it be great to be living nearer to the nature... alas I didn't appreciate the East Coast Beach while I was living at my mom's then...
