Herbal Cheese Scones

Been wanting to bake these scones since a very LOOOOOOONG time ago... finally I did make them yesterday...was very pleased with the results as more than 70% of the scones are GONE this morning *mama overjoyed*

I like it that the cheese looks so pretty in orange after the scones are baked... and its aroma is simply perfect... they are exceptionally easy to make as well... try it... ;)

These scones make very good breakfast or tea treats... have fun...

250gm flour
1tbsp baking powder
1/2 tbsp milk powder
80gm unsalted butter
pinch of salt
40gm sugar
150ml milk
1tbsp mixed herbs
100gm cheddar cheese

Method of preparation
1) Sieve flour, baking powder, milk powder together
2) Mix in salt & sugar
3) Rub butter together with the mixture into a crumb-like consistency
4) Add in milk to form dough
5) Add in herbs and cheese mix till well incorporated
6) Roll dough out to 1cm thick. Use a heart-shaped cutter to cut out scones.
7) Bake for 15-20mins or till golden brown.
8) Serve with jam or butter
