Hard Knocks of Life Part III

Can you believe it??? Three HARD knocks in 3 consecutive weeks *faint over 3 times*

Last two weeks, I shared that Tim have had 2 knocks on his face, with one causing a bruise on his face... and yesterday, while he was drinking a bottle of water, he knocked himself on the head while trying to lie down... he was in a daze while recovering from the shock for a while... I thought that might have taught him a lesson to be more cautious when he's sitting on the floor...

Today... he had a bad knock AGAIN!!!!!!!!! This time at the corner of his eye... causing a bump and bad bruise just mm away from his right eye... UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!

I simply CANNOT BELIEVE how he could knock his head SO MANY times in 3 weeks... GOOD GRIEF!!!

Can someone please tell me what should I do? Put a crash helmet on him has always been a joke... I certainly hope it wouldn't become a reality... awww...my poor darling... I really hope he'll learn from all these painful lessons... sigh... *heart broken mama*

But I guess, kids of this age are rather resilient... just less than an hour after the bad episode of hard knock, he's up and about running in the house... and this time he's more ambitious... carrying with him 3 bolsters (at one time) oh, and not forgetting his stuff giraffe from his play yard to our master bedroom... planning to spend the night with his daddy and mummy... just look at his adorable face... how could we reject his joining us in bed? *grin*

Dun wori about the hard knocks, it's part of growing up pains I supposed!!

I'm sure Tim will learn his lesson and have more awareness of safety as he grows.

Thank you dearies... I truly do hope Tim will learn and be more cautious and conscious about the danger that lurks around him...*faint*...

It's really not easy running after a toddler who is so prone to accidents teehehe ;P

Aiyo... that's the part I'm worried about when we move to our new house this Friday. Currently our apartment is fully carpeted, Nikita has never had a fall or knock when she was in her baby & toddler phase. In the new house, we have all hardwood floors and tiles + flights of stairs, I can't imagine how it would be like for my #2 and even Nikita if she is not careful...

It's very common at their age to have bumps everywhere :) Z fractured his arm when he was 2. Remember to put safety gadgets in the house.

Hi Crazymommy, we'll just have to take a step at a time from now on... and must glue our eyes on the little ones especially when they are able to move around... other than that have to commit the little ones to God's protection and care... :)

Hi LZMommy, ya that's what a friend told me too, her 2.5yr old son has multiple bumps on the head/eye/body too... unavoidable... oh dear... it must hv been quite traumatic for Z to hv fractured his arm at such a young age... sigh... must really take care...

Oh dear! hope Tim is getting better from the bruises. At Tim's age, he tends to be more mobile and active with climbing, jumping, running tho seems rather wobbly.. everytime when grace runs, i will be a nagging mom.. u can witness next time... hahaha...

take care ya... don't get too stress up, your lil joyce coming soon.. :)
